WaterAid Tanzania Opportunities, February 2023

Since 1983, WaterAid Tanzania has collaborated closely with stakeholders and partners to ensure that everyone, everywhere has access to clean water, adequate sanitation, and good hygiene. We are a major player in the WASH industry. 

Our efforts are closely aligned with the Water Sector Development Programme (WSDP) of the Tanzanian government, and we seek to remove the major obstacles standing in the way of the sector's meeting the WSDP's objectives. We use the knowledge and expertise gained from our local projects to affect national policy. 

We think that the three pillars of development—water, sanitation, and hygiene—should come first. Access to WASH services benefits citizens' health, education, nutrition, and livelihoods as well. We will help Tanzania eradicate extreme poverty and improve the lives of the country's poorest citizens by working to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 6 - universal access to water and sanitation. Our goal is to create a world where everyone has access to clean water, sanitary facilities, and hygiene. The organisation is an equal opportunity employer.
